The GDRs were repurchased under the Company’s Share Repurchase Program previously announced October 27, 2008 and Extension of Share Repurchase Program previously announced December 18, 2008.

Eurasia Drilling Company Limited (“EDC” - LSE: EDCL) has been notified that S. Douglas Stinemetz, General Counsel of the Company, sold 3,000 GDRs of the Company at USD 11.50 per GDR on June 15, 2009 and 47,000 GDRs of the Company at USD 11.50 per GDR on June 16, 2009.
